JOB DESCRIPTION
- Coordinating the orders and supply of tooling and spare parts across Ball Aerosol plants
- Insure the adequate follow up, support and feedback to all Ball plants
- Close cooperation with Tooling and spare parts storage and warehouse team
- Insure the adequate communication within the Division
- Identify the needs of tooling and spare parts in all locations
- Identify the best suppliers, track prices, keep focus on services and purchase with the best interest of Ball
- Centralize drawings with the target to standardize as much parts as possible
- Order the tooling and spare parts according to the demand of the different locations
- Taking over individual orders from suppliers and communicate the internal assembling services if necessary
- Coordinate with the purchasing team to benchmark the different suppliers in order to get the best value for the best price
- Communication with Czech legal authorities (i.e. Chamber of Commerce, Custom authority, etc.)
- Handling loading process of each individual shipment
- Safely pack tooling and spare parts according to individual countries requirements
- Communicate with relevant plants, custom agencies, forwarders to ensure easy and safe deliveries on time
- Arranging for transfer agents/forwarders to provide best possible and smooth transfer of tooling and spare parts to their destination
- Keep in touch with plants to provide any additional service or help if necessary or requested
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Preferably education in an Engineering/ Technical discipline
- Advanced Microsoft Office (mainly Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ideally SolidWorks or DraftSight skills
- Ability to understand/read technical drawings
- Ability to work individually as well as a team player
- Ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a multi-cultural environment
- Ability to establish and keep good professional relations with internal and external partners
- Basic knowledge of SAP advantage
- Driving licence B advantage
- Fluent English, Czech
